Contracted services
Local guides, meals, some providers of transportation services (eg buses, trains or boats) and other necessary services may be contracted out to third parties and are not employees of JP Tours. Thus, in the provision of these services, JP Tours. acts only as a sales agent and is not responsible for any claims against these entities that result from actions on its behalf.
Complaints and Refunds
Only claims and claims for reimbursement that have been submitted in writing by the claimant to JP Tours within 5 days after termination of service will be considered. All disputes will be settled at the Seixal District Court, with the express exclusion of any other.
Payment Policy
Reservations for any services must be made by email. Reservations will only be considered confirmed after receipt of proof of payment of the total value of the Reserve. Reservations must be confirmed: 100% of the total amount – with confirmation of the reservation Bookings must be made directly to JP Tours at info@jptoursportugal.com. Payment can be made by credit card using Paypal (www.paypal.com) or bank transfer. We will only book with suppliers after receiving confirmation of payment from our bank. If we do not receive the final payment on the due date, we will consider the reservation canceled. It will apply to our cancellation policy.

The organization of the services and Tours included in this Site is made by Joaquim Pestana – Sociedade Unipessoal, Lda commercial name JP Tours, with headquarters in Praceta Quinta do Serrado da Igreja, 2 3º Esq. 2845-437 Amora, with RNAVT nº 3399.

Cancellation Policy
Reservations will only be considered valid once 100% of the total value of the service has been received, unless otherwise stated in writing Once the reservation is made, the following cancellation charges will apply in case of cancellation of the reservation or accommodation:
- Before 30 days from the agreed date: 100% refund Payment except for booking fees and costs
- 30 to 15 days before the agreed date: 35% of the total amount Payment – 65% of the total amount Payment will be refunded
- 15 to 7 days before the agreed date: 50% of the total amount Payment – 50% of the total amount will be refunded Payment
- 7 to 1 day before the agreed date: 100% of the total amount Payment – No refund
- Failure to appear on the day of the Service: 100% of the total amount Payment – No refunds
All cancellation expenses are subject to additional charges incurred by JP Tours with transportation, accommodation, food and beverages, contracted services or other non-refundable charges related to the reservation made by the Customer.
Booking Policy
Changes to reservations after the first payment are subject to:
- Confirmation of Availability for the new Dates
- Change of values initially proposed
f the new values resulting from the change are different from the initially proposed values, the respective adjustments will be made. JP Tours reserves the right (and delegated to its drivers) to refuse to carry any person who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs and / or whose behavior is considered a threat to the driver, vehicle or other passengers. Smoking is not allowed in vehicles. JP Tours strives to transport the passenger, with comfort and to their destination. However, circumstances beyond our control may prevent this responsibility from being carried out. The following are examples of circumstances that are not within our control
- Exceptional or severe weather conditions
- Deaths and accidents on the roads
- Vandalism and terrorism
- Unforeseen traffic delays
- Strikes by Third Parties
